Jason L. St.Pierre, Ph.D. HCLD, is the director of the In Vitro Fertilization and Andrology laboratories at the Institute for Reproductive Health.  As laboratory director, he supervises all of the highly technical procedures performed at IRH.    These  include in vitro fertilization, ICSI, embryo cryopreservation, and Preimplantation genetic diagnosis. 

Dr St. Pierre received his B.S. in Biology at Bowling Green State University in 1993. Following graduation, he returned home to the Dayton area to work in the infertility field and pursue his doctorate degree.

His Ph.D. in Developmental Biology was awarded in 2001 at the University of Dayton. Dr. St.Pierre has worked in the infertility field since 1994 serving as an Embryologist, Technical Supervisor, and Laboratory Director. He assumed the Directorship of the Kettering Reproductive Medicine Laboratory in 2001. In 2002, Dr. St.Pierre was awarded full certification as a High Complexity Laboratory Director (HCLD) in reproductive biology by the American Association of Bioanalysts.

Dr. St.Pierre is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, the Society for the study of Reproduction, the American Society of Cell Biology, Sigma Xi Scientific Research Society, the Society of Assisted Reproductive Technology, and the American Association of Bioanalysts.


THE LABORATORIES AT THE INSTITUTE FOR REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH

The ART Lab is the reproductive laboratory used by the Institute for Reproductive Health. The lab consists of 2 facilities. The first is a sperm (andrology) lab. The second is a complex embryology lab for in vitro fertilization.. All couples going through IVF will have a full semen analysis paying special attention to morphology or the shape of a cell as it relates to function. This helps your physician determine the best strategy to help you overcome your infertility.

The laboratory is an important partner in your infertility treatment team. The lab provides a variety of services, from diagnostic testing to assisted reproductive technologies. Types of services the lab provides includes:
