Michael D. Scheiber, M.D., M.P.H., F.A.C.O.G.
Michael D. Scheiber, M.D., M.P.H.,
F.A.C.O.G., completed his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the
University of Cincinnati and received his medical degree from the University of California
at San Francisco School of Medicine. He completed his residency and chief residency in
reproductive medicine at the University of California at San Diego Medical Center and also
holds two graduate degrees in Public Health and Health and Medical Sciences from the
University of California at Berkeley.
Dr. Scheiber is co-director of the IVF program at the Institute for Reproductive Health
(IRH). He is also director of Reproductive Reasearch at IRH. Dr. Scheiber also serves as
volunteer Assistant Professor in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology &
Infertility in the department of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Cincinnati
College of Medicine. His previous positions include serving as the director of
Womens Health at the Palau Community Health Center in Koror, Palau. In addition to
performing laparoscopic laser surgery and microsurgical tubal reconstruction, Dr. Scheiber
has conducted numerous research projects and has special areas of interest in embryo
development and implantation, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and menopausal health.
Dr. Scheiber is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive
Endocrinology and Infertility. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and
Gynecologists, and a Member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the
national Chair for the associate membership of the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology
& Infertility.
